Colorado has 43 state parks, 12 national parks and several county parks and open space areas. There are also historic trails that cross through several states including Colorado. Hiking, biking, horseback riding, swimming, boating, camping, rock climbing, wildlife viewing, and scenic drives are just some of the activities available to you in these areas. Go whitewater rafting or kayaking down the Cache la Poudre River on your own or with one of several guided outfitters and experience Class II, III, and IV rapids. Here are a few outfitters to try:


Did you know that Northern Colorado produces award winning wines? There are four regions in Colorado with vineyards: Southern region, Denver region, Boulder region and Northern region. All offer tours and tastings of different types of wines. If outdoor sports are your thing, then you've come to the right place! There are some amazing golf courses in Northern Colorado with breathtaking scenery and wildlife surrounding them.
